870 miles of coastline; just one summer

To celebrate 10 years since the official opening of the Wales Coast Path in 2012, we want you to join us in getting out along the Path as part of our nation-wide, summer-long challenge — The Big 870.

Brought to you by the 870-mile Wales Coast Path, The Big 870 will unite leisurely strollers, hikers and dog-walkers, cyclists and wheelchair users, horse-riders, community groups, families, residents and visitors alike — to collectively walk 870 miles anywhere along the Path this summer to end of September 2022.

Whether you’re able to pledge 1 mile, 5 miles, 10 miles (or more!)  — help us achieve our target by pledging your mileage below. And don’t forget to keep an eye out on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels for regular mileage updates as we work towards our 870-mile target!

What’s more, you could also be in with the chance of winning a bespoke 10^th anniversary merchandise bundle. To enter, simply share a photo on social media of yourself somewhere along the Wales Coast Path, tagging @walescoastpath and using the hashtag #TheBig870.

Three winners will be selected at random on 30 September 2022 and contacted via direct message.
