Year of Adventure 2016!

2016 is officially the Year of Adventure here in Wales! The landscape of this beautiful and rugged country is the perfect place to start your own adventure.

But where shall we start?

On the 870 mile / 1,400 km long Wales Coast Path of course!

This unique path hugs the entire Welsh coastline - it isn’t all about steep hills and stunning coastal views (although there’s quite a few of them along the way!).  We’ve picked 5 of the best family adventure walks on the Wales Coast Path which are perfect for little (or big) adventurers amongst you!  There’s plenty of art, history and legends along the way.  Who says walking is boring?!

• Constitution Hill, Aberystwyth (Ceredigion area)

• St Govan’s Chapel, Pembrokeshire (Pembrokeshire area)
Explore this tiny chapel nestled down in the rocky cliffs of South Pembrokeshire with the amazing coastal views.  Challenge the legend of whether the number of steps to the chapel is never the same going down as it is going back up!

The home of the Welsh Parliament, this five mile walk around Cardiff Bay is a family friendly walk soaking up the diverse history and culture of Wales’ capital city.
