WCP is committed to making its website fully
accessible to all members of society. The website has been
carefully designed - and strict standards have been put in place -
to ensure that users with disabilities can easily access the
information contained within it, including users who may be blind
or partially sighted. We also make sure that those users who have
reading difficulties are able to use the site.
We have followed the guidelines set down by the W3C (World wide
web consortium) to ensure that, for example, the coding of our site
supports screen readers (technology that allows the site to be
'read' for the visually impaired or blind).
CCW's website makes use of valid XHTML code and CSS styles.
We aim to comply with WAI-AA accessibility standards [WCAG 1.0],
and the vast majority of our web pages reach this standard. We will
also soon be pursuing the WCAG 2.0 standard.
We welcome your views on how easy the website is to use. Please
send your comments to enquiries@naturalresourceswales.gov.uk.
